Few days back we'd featured Zek Crew, who work on several projects and tape art was one of them. Intrigued by this art form I found Chris Hosmer, a designer whose wonderful modern art is created from colorful tapes.
Chris has worked on several (random) fields before realising that he is meant to be a designer. He's worked as a lawyer, book repairer, bicycle salesman, bartender, sandwich maker and even an underwear model.
"One day in college I was introduced to Charles and Ray Eames and had the sudden realization that being a designer was the life I wanted. Design was the way to describe everything I was interested in, which was everything. So for the last 10 years I've been busy designing cars, stores, hotels, medical devices, shoes, drinks, diapers, toothpaste, air purifiers, bags, jackets, refrigerators, websites and umbrellas. I skateboard to work."
