Huang Guofu was only four years of age when he lost his arms in a tragic accident, but that was just the beginning of a budding artist who taught himself to dedicatedly pursue his love for art. And a highly spirited 12 year old Huang started to paint with his feet.

"God might have closed my door. But my window was left open, allowing me to make a living and even feel happy and content. I'd say I still appreciate what God has given me." he shares.

Huang hadn't tried painting from his mouth till the time he was 18, before that his raw art was presented on the canvas through his feet only. But soon Huang realized that in order to bring some elegance and detailing in his work, he should use his mouth as well. Initially, Huang started selling his art on the streets of China to earn some money for his ailing father. In the beginning, he faced a lot of criticism, although people did buy his paintings, but perhaps to motivate the budding artist. But with time, Huang brought professionalism and variety in his work and people started recognizing him for his work rather than his ability to work.

"I want to let the younger generation know that there are no real obstacles in life. The only obstacle is if you want to do it."
