Playing with food has always been my favorite time pass, and its amazing to see creative artists like Christopher take my favorite time pass to a whole new level.
We had featured Fulvio Bonavia in the past, who integrated fashion with food and also Jennifer Rubell, who creates massive illustrations from food and today we bring you Christopher Boffoli, who likes to create interesting scenes using miniature figures and food. Something like Alice in Wonder-Food-Land. :)
Here are some of my favorite creations by him:
Christopher is a brilliant photographer and has beautiful images from different corners of the world on his website.
Interview with Christopher Boffoli.

Love these, they're so clever. Will pass this link along. Thanks for sharing!
We're glad you enjoyed them Karen....and thanks for sharing. :)
I'm discovering this work today on the net via a lot of trendy website and feel sad to see how the work of minimam is obviously copied... Could you make something in respect of the anteriors artists' work?
Christopher is essentially a travel and street photographer, and Disparity Series is one of his many projects. Nevertheless, these series are similar to Minimiam and we will soon be featuring Akiko and Pierre (the artists behind Minimiam) on our blog too. :)
yes, Pierre and Akiko seem to have worked on this since before 2004 and it's very strange to see how the christopher's project looks similar... So that's a really great news if you take the time to show the original work of this concept!

This seems to be quite an obvious ripoff of Minimiam, as others have pointed out, which is very upsetting. I first saw this in 2005:

We've featured Minimiam's work on our blog we well, you can have a look at it here:
