With e-junkie, our discount
feature provides an easy way to create a discounts that will automatically apply to
your products. This means customers won't have to enter a code to get the discount. (For information about e-junkie discount codes, click here.)
Note: You must be using our Add to Cart/View Cart buttons for this. You cannot use automatic discounts with the Buy Now buttons, or the PayPal Cart buttons we provide.
The first thing you will want to do is click on the Add/Edit
E-junkie Cart Discounts link on the right side of the Seller Admin page to
bring up the Discount page:
Under the heading Add/Update Discount, use the Product drop
down menu to select the product you want to have a sale on:
Give the Discount a Name, leave the Discount Code field blank.
The blank Discount Code field makes the discount automatic.
Set when you want the discount to expire, and the flat amount
you want the discount to be (if you want the discount to be a percentage, then
you will need to set the amount after entering in “.00”, for instance .0010 for
10%, or .0025 for 25%):
Then click Submit to save the discount.
When a buyer adds the product to the cart our system will
automatically apply it and in the cart it will show “Current Promotion”:
