For a noble mission, photographer Norah Levine and audio producer  Gabrielle Amster teamed up together to work on a very heart touching multi-media project called 'Lifelines' which is dedicated to honoring the bond between people and their pets.

In this project the duo documents the stories of homeless people and their pets.

People who are living on the street rely on their pets for so many thing, most importantly companionship and no matter how little their resources are they do their best to look after their pets because they are the are their most true companion.

According to the website, "The mission of the Lifelines project is to depict the bond between people and their pets, and document a relationship that has existed for thousands of years across all walks of life. The project’s purpose is to share the images and unique lifestyle of the pets of the homeless with the community of Austin."
