ChargeKey, the name is not appearing for the first time on our blog. In the previous mention, we had featured it as the product of the week, and this one is about why we did so. All thanks to Anna Sargeeva from Nomad, who was kind enough to send us review units. ChargeKey is just what any smartphone user needs now on the present date.
Mobile phone has become the compulsory companion for almost everyone. But with it, one has to carry its compulsory companion too, its charger. The charger is the lifeline of the phone after all. But remembering to carry or carrying the charger is the challenge sometimes. ChargeKey brings you the way to win the challenge. It is a charger for your phone, in the shape of a key, and one which you can put in a key ring with the other keys. So you don't have to remember to carry it as you will carry your keys anyway.
We have just told you the best feature about the ChargeKey, its portability. Now to comment on its other features, lets start with its design. Well, it is small, as we have already mentioned. In fact, it is claimed as the smallest charger. The structure of the ChargeKey is designed very carefully and keeping every single necessary point in mind. The two ends are made of hard plastic. They are strong enough. At one end, there is Lightning connector to attach it with the phone. This end also has a loop, thin enough to get placed in any key ring. At the other end, there is the USB connector that can be connected to any USB port or a wall adapter. The middle part is of rubber which enables bending.

It also comes with the option of to be used with a wall adapter, otherwise all you need to use it is a USB port, which is commonly found everywhere these days. The only point the product seems to be missing is the protection for the two ports. Agreed upon the fact that no charger has that, but ChargeKey would definitely have a rougher usage as compared to any other charger. Because when in a key ring, it is likely to be carried without much care. The other challenge I faced while using it is that once connected to a USB port, the movement of the phone gets restricted. I mean one can not give up attending to one's phone, which becomes a problem due to the small connector. But that is the main idea behind the product, ability to be carried everywhere without having to be remembered.
There are two versions of the product, one for iPhone 5/5C/5S, Lightning iPad, iPad Mini. The other version, micro USB, is for Samsung Galaxy, HTC, Nexus, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, Lumia, LG, many more. The ChargeKey also has a sibling named ChargeCard. It possesses the same characteristics of being able to charge phones, portable, strong and can be used with any USB port. The only difference is that it is shaped like a credit card and can easily fit into your wallet. Both the products take the same amount of time to charge the device as the usual chargers do. Both are available at a fair price of $29 which makes it cost like any other charger.
Order any one of the two siblings, and receive the product in an interesting packaging. Very smartly packaged, you will enjoy unpacking it and so will you while using the product. Just to put it all in a shell, ChargeKey/ ChargeCard is a smart invention, very useful and needful, most importantly.
