Repurposing, doesn't it sound great, I mean you can get a completely new thing with a new usage from an old thing which you no more use! This is a good way to follow the three rules of saving the environment, namely - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Repurposing is also a boon for those who have a love for DIY folks. Also, the repurposed objects have a totally different look as compared to the ready made ones. The other and may be the most prominent benefit of repurposing for some people is that they don't have to give away with their beloved belongings. Sometimes, objects around us become special for us for some or the other reason. They wear out but our attachment to them does not. So the best way to keep them and also not let them become a burden, is to repurpose them. But one has to churn the wheels of imagination of one's mind to repurpose things.

Here are some examples of daily objects repurposed for you to have a look at. Some are a bit complicated and some are so easy that you would think that why didn't you think about it before. Whatever the reaction may be, I assure you would enjoy watching them.

1. Luggage to medicine cabinet



With only minor modifications, a retro luggage bag is turned into a medicine/ bathroom cabinet. It would take hardly anything to turn a suitcase into a cabinet, but has saved a lot for sure.

2. Climbing rope to chandelier



A lampshade with a flexible stand. Sometimes it is just what you need it.

3. Floppy disk to notebook



A stack of papers you can write on and two floppy discs enclosing them all. You would own a very very different notebook for sure.

4. Bucket to rocket stove



This one seem a little complicated as compared to the previous ones. But it will definitely solve the purpose for for a long period of time.

5. Credit cards to guitar picks



This one is the simplest of all. Cut out old credit cards into guitar picks and get hold of the cards forever.
