The year 2013 is almost about to come to an end and so it's also the time to roundup things, the good, the bad and the ugly, that happened this year.

Last week, YouTube released its YouTube Rewind 2013 and around the same time LinkedIn also released the list of the overused buzzword that its members have used in their profiles.

This is the fourth time that LinkedIn has released this list.

Last year when LinkedIn did the overused buzzword analysis, it had a member base of 187 million but this year the company's member base grew to more than 259 million members. Wow! That's a quick increase.

This global analysis focused only on the English-language profiles on LinkedIn in 14 countries and region, some of which are Brazil, UAE, Canada, Great Britain, India, Japan, US, Singapore, Australia and more.

The buzzword that topped the list this year was 'responsible' which has been used in the members' profiles more than twice times in comparison to the second in line 'strategic'. Some new words that made in the top 10 list this year are 'expert', 'driven', 'organizational', 'innovative' and 'patient'.

The surprising part according to the analysis was that "most of the countries had the same top three buzzwords, in the same order: 'responsible', 'strategic', 'effective'."
