Finally Christmas is here. Yay!

The Christmas tree decorated, check. The Christmas decoration all up, check. The Christmas gifts all wrapped up and hidden so that no one is able to find them before the Christmas eve and the Christmas cards all sent out, check. So since everything has been done, it's time to plan your Christmas holiday.

One of my favorite Christmas tradition that I make sure to follow every year on the Christmas eve without a miss is personally checking out the beautiful Christmas trees in and around my neighborhood and also around the world through the internet.

On thing that I'm amazed by with every passing year is that the Christmas tree decoration has gone on a totally new level as it's getting bigger and better and if just like me you too love to checkout Christmas trees around the world then here are some of the best Christmas trees from around the world.

1. Christmas Tree at Brandenburger Tor (Berlin, Germany)


This Christmas tree standing next to the Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg gate) in the capital city of Germany just looks fabulous.

2. Christmas Tree at at Galleries Lafayette (Paris, France)



The annual 4-storey Christmas Tree at the at Galleries Lafayette in one of the most stylish trees around the world. This year the tree has been decorated by the Swiss watch company Swatch, stands 60 foot (18 meter) tall and is decorated with approximately 1.9 miles (3 km) of twinkling lights.

3. Christmas Tree at Puerta del Sol Square (Madrid, Spain)



This unique Christmas tree made entirely from light bulbs, not only proves that the folks in Madrid are on the road to going green but have actually gone half way as the tree has bee made using energy efficient lights.

4. Christmas Tree at Christmas market in Old Town Square (Prague, Czech Republic)


This Christmas tree standing tall in the famous Christmas market in Old Town Square over the market that offers traditional delights and handcrafted goods. This tree lightens up the entire city bringing out the best in it.

5. Christmas Tree on the bank of the Lake Rodrigo de Freitas (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)


Located on the bank of the Lake Rodrigo de Freitas, this Christmas tree is the world's tallest floating Christmas tree (Guinness Book of Records). It is 85m-high, weighs around 542-ton and is illuminated by 3.3 million lights. This tree is one major attraction for tourists visiting Rio during the Christmas holidays.

6. Christmas Tree at the Rockefeller Center (New York City, US)



If you remember the movie Home Alone 2 by heart then I bet you remember the scene where Kevin makes a wish at the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and his mom finds him there. That scene was just amazing, wasn't it?

We all have seen this tree on TV but if you haven't seen it in real life then I advice you, you must. This is the world's most famous tree and this year the tree is a Norway Spruce from Shelton, Connecticut, standing 76ft tall and is 47ft in diameter and weighs a total of 12 ton. It has been decorated with more than 45,000 multi-colored, energy efficient LED lights and is topped with a 91/2-foot-wide Swarovski star.
