Daniel Gray, an engineering student from New Zealand was visiting his girlfriend, Kathleen Starrie's family for the holidays in Edmonton, Canada. Kathleen's mother, Brigid Burton in an attempt to keep Daniel busy, suggested him to build an igloo. Brigid started the preparations even before the couple started packing their bags for the vacation. She started filling milk cartons with colored water and placed them outside to form ice bricks.
