Remember the 2004 History Channel Advertising campaign - 'Know Where You Stand'. Wasn't it an amazing campaign?
The 'Know Where You Stand' campaign won numerous international awards including the Cannes Lion and immortalized the photographer behind this campaign Seth Taras.
This campaign featured four superimposed World War II photographs onto the modern streets photographs. Seth shot these photographs in various cities where landmark events happened like the Fall of the Berlin Wall. He then blended these photos with old photographs showing those events.
Seth Taras is a self taught American artist who is also one of Luerzer’s Archive’s 200 Best Photographers Worldwide.
The 'Know Where You Stand' campaign has been translated into 30 languages and published in 130 countries.
