It may sound clichéd, but a great way to make an impression is to come across as a sincere blogger who really has belief and conviction behind his or her words.
To make this impression, bloggers have to find out ways to really reach out to their readers and make that special connection.
Because blogs make it so easy to connect to each other, readers can automatically detect if -
A. the blogger really cares about his readers and
B. If the blogger shows any concern to his or her reader’s thoughts and opinions at all.
To get positive answers to the above-mentioned points, bloggers and writers in general have to figure out strategies to connect and reach out to his or her readers. To help you accomplish that goal, here are three excellent ways to not only write good blog posts, but to also make your readers feel special and thought of. In the process, you may also find that you, as the blogger, may feel good about how you are shaping your blog!
1. Blog about things that interest your readers- A great way to find out what they’re into is to leave every blog post with a question. What did they think of the post? Is it something that they would like to see more of? If not, what would they rather see? It’s questions like these that get reader and blogger conversations started. Not only does the blogger come out as concerned for the interest of his or her readers, but in return, he, too is able to get honest and direct feedback as to which direction he or she should be taking his blog.
2.Emailing- Emails are another way to get beyond the blog and still reach out to readers. If you have managed to acquire fans somewhere during your blogging journey, then for sure, these fans will love to hear from you. To facilitate hassle-free emailing, why not give readers of your blog the option to sign up for a newsletter. It does not need to be an in-your-face ad. A discreet sign up form at the side of your blog will not hurt it, or sacrifice its overall look. Through your emails, you can elaborate further on what you have been up to, your thoughts, appearances, and so on.
3. Social Media- Facebook and Twitter are even more personalized ways to get across to your readers. Both are great avenues for them to ask your questions, or just interact in general. Through these 2 social media networks, you can paint an even clearer picture of what you are like in terms of personality, looks (if you care to share photos), and what you are currently experiencing. If your posts on these networks coincide with the nature and topic of your blog posts, then surely your readers will see that you are actually writing about real things and real issues, and not just something made up!
