Mostly because images edited in Instagram are reminiscent of our childhood images; they are so nostalgically old school.
Benjamin Redford from London has designed a nifty little gadget to take us back to the days when images were presented in good old Kodak slide projector. The only difference here is that the images projected through Projecteo are the images that we take from our iPhone.
Projecteo is a tiny Instagram projector (as tiny as a match box) that displays Instagram images through 35mm slide; each holding nine photos.
"We've developed a process to get your Instagrams onto a single frame of 35mm Kodak film stock, which is cut into a circle and fits snugly inside a wheel. To change wheels, just gently pull it out and place the next one in the slot. You will be able to collect as many wheels as you like." shares Redford
Like any other projector, there are no pixels in Projecteo images that work best when presented in the dark.
Like most innovative and creative projects that gain platform through Kickstarter, Projecteo is also in the process of raising funds through Kickstarter. And like any potential idea, Projecteo has already exceeded its goal of $18,000 with more than a month to go.
