Michael Tompsett has a very interesting theory behind naming his artwork 'artPause'. Pause (a verb) means to reflect or to consider, therefore by calling it artPause he means: 'Outstanding art that makes an impact'.
There is no doubt that by creating various maps of the world using abstract art, he is bringing us thought provoking artwork.
'Maps of the World' is a series of maps featuring all kinds of abstract art, you can find maps with butterflies, typography, music sheets, water color and even subway stations.
"All pieces of artwork are giclee printed on state-of-the-art printers, using genuine lifetime fade resistant UltraChrome inks, on gallery quality semi-matte heavyweight paper or ultra-white premium matte poly canvas. " shares Tompsett.
