Ernie Button, an Arizona based artist has created a photo series called Cerealism where he imagines and then creates landscapes made out of breakfast cereal.

According to Button, cereal has become something more than a morning treat, it's an another form of entertainment. A cereal aisle is one of the most sought after aisle in a super market filled with colorful cereal in all kinds of shapes resembling objects, people and even characters from comics and movies.

"I began to construct landscapes that would utilize the natural earth tones of certain cereals. I placed enlarged photographs of actual Arizona skies in the background of the cereal landscapes giving the final image an odd sense of reality. It is apparent that cereal is not just for breakfast anymore. Cereal has evolved into pop culture objects instead of just nutritious corn pops." shares Button.
