Before checking out this infographic, I never gave much thought to the fact that the two most popular social networking sites-Facebook and Twitter have 'blue' as their fundamental color theme.

According to this infographic, the main reason behind web designers choosing the color blue is its-clarity, simplicity and efficiency.
