Although we can give Facebook credit for making FB messages visually better and adding some features that might make someone wanna use Facebook messages for a change. But Facebook is known for drastically overhauling its features; how can we forget when they made us get used to the Timeline? But this time they've tried to play it safe I guess.
What's new?
- You can now see a list of all recent messages in a column on the left side of the screen; the entire conversation can be seen on the right.
- You can quite easily insert images and emoticons to your messages.
- To make search and navigation easier you can use keywords to search for sender's name or a particular message.
- When someone sees your message it will be marked as seen so that you know that your friends as received your message.
Like we said, other than the visual appeal there isn't anything very exciting about the new Facebook messages. Let's call it an attempt from Facebook's side to lure people to start using FB messages more frequently.
