Recently we featured an interesting idea of a cookbook that can be read, cooked and served...literally. Then there was this book for adventurers who can eat it in case of an emergency...again, literally!
The book that we are talking about today, has to be read within two months of buying! Else, the words in the book will disappear.
It is an interesting initiative by independent publishers in Argentina: Eterna Cadencia, who aims to encourage book buyers to actually read the book, rather than stacking them up in the bookshelf.
This approach is also beneficial for first time authors, who have to wait a long time for people to read their books, making it difficult for them to survive as a writer.
"Books are patient objects. We buy them, and then they wait for us to read them. Days, months, even years. That's OK for books, but not new authors. If people don't read their first books.
