Origami is one form of art that always fascinates me. But when I came across this Origami related term called 'OriMoneyGami', it sounded really exciting to me. And the moment I encountered one of its examples, I was completely bowled over by the creative concept and mind blowing creations. Lets simply define OriMoneyGami as 'playing with the bank notes'.
Japanese artist Hasegawa Yosuke folds currency notes of different countries; each of his sculptures have a unique design and tickles your humor side too. Look at the image at your left; a couple of guys posing in a cool style appear as if they are wearing designer caps but actually they are 'OriMoneyGami', that is, folded miniatures of currency notes. Yosuke's art is not only super creative but it looks funny too. Have a look at a few of them yourself:
I had a great time browsing through talented Yosuke's portfolio. What about you? If you dare to try this art at home, definitely do share with us!
You can check out all the creations at FickleFlickers (cool name, eh?).
