Kerry Callen, a comic books enthusiast and creator of his very own comic book series has recently tried his hands on animated GIF images.

Callen works with Hallmark in the licensing department, but pretty much like our superheroes he has an alter ego as well. At night he works on his funny and fascinating comic book series called Halo and Sprocket.

Kerry has also worked in graphic design field in the past, and used Photoshop before adding animation to these images. “Some people call them ‘magic motion,’ as seen on greeting cards and such, I really enjoyed doing very simple animation, and recently had the urge to do something similar. I’m a comics fan, and it occurred to me that I’ve never seen famous covers animated, so I thought, ‘Hey. I could do that!’” shares Callen.

For now he has animated Spiderman, Iron Man, The Dark Knight Returns and Justice League of America, and is working on many more similar ideas cropping in his head. "They are too fun not to do again." he says.
