When I was new at typing, I often used to try if I can type looking at screen and not at the keyboard; how fast and how precisely. Well if I would have been aware of this amazingly fun tool '10FastFingers', then that self-testing wouldn't have been that difficult. It is an incredibly easy, fast and free tool to test your typing speed and if you practice it daily, you can even improvise it. More than anything, it is quite fun to type in there and self-access your typing skills; mine was horrible. ;)
10FastFingers is developed by Christian Strang, a German web designer. Besides typing, you can even log and track your results by simply creating an account. You can see how much you improve over time.
Besides English language, there are many more languages in which the typing can be done. You can choose the language from the dropdown list on the upper right side. Once you create your account with 10FastFingers, you can also share the results directly to Facebook and Twitter.
I have bookmarked this amazing tool and whenever I find time, I just start playing around with it. Will you give it a try?
