TweetingSeat is an interactive "tweet bench" that aims to explore the connection between the digital and physical world. Designed by Christopher McNicholl, this bench is "created to explore the environments in which it is placed and the people whom it encounters."

It has two cameras, one is placed on the bench that captures surrounding place and the other is placed in a nearby location to capture people who use this bench; these images are then uploaded on TweetingSeat's Twitterfeed.

Although the bench looks pretty nifty, but then what purpose does it solve?

Christopher answers the question by saying that, "the aim of TweetingSeat is for people and communities to form their own relationship with the object through the way in which they choose to use it."

As per their press release, "This project stemmed from an investigation to communities, and focuses on the idea of creating an object that people may interact with on both a physical and digital level."
