This Is How Modern Celebrities Would Look In The Renaissance Era

Although we've seen them in every avatar, and in various roles, yet somehow watching these portraits from the renaissance era manages to amaze you.

An interesting experiment by the artists from worth1000.com have tried to imagine these modern day celebrities in a historical time when the world was progressing from the middle ages to modern era.

While some of these celebs in the renaissance avatar seem to fit perfectly, while some others look stunningly beautiful; but there are quite a few that will make you smile and very few that are ROFL worthy. ;)

Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and Penelope Cruz's portraits fit in the era the best. I would say Nicole Kidman, but since she acts in so many period pieces, the transformation here seems trite.
