TweetDeck, one of the most widely used application for Twitter rolled out a revamped version of iPhone app today. An app that they claim to be "fast, flexible and full-on powerful".
According to Richard Barley, Community Manager of Twitter, their team has built this app right from scratch and made complete use of latest technology and design, while keeping the fundamental functions intact.
"You've all enjoyed the trailer, but now the year's biggest blockbuster has arrived at last. iPhone TweetDeck v2.0 is here!" he says.
Other than all the basic functions supported by this app, like sending updates, retweeting, favoriting, mentions, DMs and searching, this latest app brings both beautiful and user friendly design that lets you swipe between columns, navigate through user profile, and as they like to call it "easy-as-pie" Add Column flow and a pretty cool Follow/Unfollow slider.
"And not only is new iPhone TweetDeck more beautiful, it offers a new flexibility that has never been seen before. Making the 'pinch' gesture on a column give you access to options that will allow you to add any combination of your feeds into a column. Twitter timelines, Mentions, DMs, Favorites, Lists, Searches, Facebook feeds...all can be blended together into columns that suit you. The Caped Crusader never had anything as cool as this."
