Every child at some point in time has this urge to collect pencil shavings and atleast try to do something creative out of them. Looking at these necklaces took me back to the time when I unsuccessfully tried painting on pencil shavings, but they are so damn fragile that my patience ran off. 

But not Victoria Mason, an Australian jeweler who creates these hand made necklaces in sterling silver that comes in five classic colors. 

According to her website, Victoria's "current collection reflect a love of nostalgia and family crafts as well as keen understanding of different jewelry techniques. She shares affection for ordinary house-hold items with one of her favorite artists, the late Howard Arkley, whose interpretation of familiar suburban and objects show a similar referece to Australian domesticity."
