Julia is a book lover who hates to see books with outdated content to be thrown away, she picks 'em up from garage sales and second hand book stalls and magically converts the book into a beautiful work of art. 

Her work is incredibly detailed and brings new life to old, rejected and soon to be recycled books. 

Julia is a scientist by trade and loves to add scientific element to her art which is pretty evident in the carvings of her books. She uses rotary cutters, tweezers, rulers, pliers, custom cut panes of glass, exacto knives, plenty of glue and her creativity to create beautiful book carvings.
