Inspired by Chinese Fortune cookies, Diana Eng created these recycled fortune cookie coin purse that comes with a dust bag and of course a printed fortune inside.
"Like real fortune cookies, these purses are proudly made in USA" she says.
And she is quite right, according to Wikipedia, "Fortune cookies were introduced by Japanese, popularized by the Chinese, but ultimately they are consumed by Americans."
Diana ensures that no animals were harmed for creating these adorable little purses, it is made from recycled leather and each purse holds a unique number that can trace back the origin of the leather. "You can look up your purse's number on our website to see where your leather originated from." she shares. Each purse is priced at $45 and measures 4" x 4" x 2".
Diana is a fashion designer, author of a book called "Fashion Geek", she has worked in tech industry with companies like Yahoo and Sony Ericsson and has also been a part of research and development with Victoria's secret. She was also a contestant in the second season of a reality show called "Project Runaway".
Currently she is concentrating on her own brand called "Diana Eng - Fashion engineered from daydreams".
