Last when we posted about a Foam Printer that creates typographic clouds floating in the air we couldn't stop ourselves from digging for more information on this concept and eventually found Flogos. A company that creates logos that fly.
Founded by two special effects inventors, Francisco Guerra and Brain Glover, Flogos is a result of a common thought between the two. "What could happen if we could make clouds into shapes?"
Subsequently, they created a machine that sends flying logos into the sky and gave the world a fascinating form of advertising.
These logos are made from a mixture of soap and lighter-than-air-gases like helium, a Flogo generator creates these logos with help of stencils that cut the exact shape for the logo.
Flogos last for about 40-50 minutes in the air and can travel up to 30 miles. Flogos may not neccessarily be white, they have recently successfully tested and introduced colored logos for those who are willing to pay extra for it.
According to Guerra, Flogos are completely environmental friendly, since the soap is derived from plants and Flogo evaporates in the site, this creation has no harmful affect on mother nature.
This is how a Flogo generator looks like:
Flogos can be created in to any shape or design and is a splendid idea for promoting a brand in shows, exhibitions, games, fairs or other types of public gathering.
