Amazon has recently introduced 'Amazon Marketing Services' that includes tools like, Amazon Pages, Amazon Posts and Analytics to help brands create a social presence using dynamic designs, templates and of course social media. "With a personalized Amazon Page, you extend your reach to Amazon.com customers and encourage immediate sales through a familiar and trusted purchasing environment." shares the company.
Amazon pages lets brands create a brand-specific page with customized URL (www.amazon.com/brandname), this page acts as a landing page where vendors can display large images of their products, along with social buttons like Facebook and Twitter.
Amazon is offering three templates from which vendors can choose to create a page representing their brand. What's interesting is that brands can also incorporate 'Posts' to these pages to showcase a certain product or promote a message.
Amazon Posts can be strategically used to send across a message to potential customers. Posts are social in nature, brands can choose to cross-post messages to Facebook pages as well. "Make the link between your social content and retail success. Use Amazon Posts to align your social marketing efforts with your e-commerce objectives and bring a social element to your Amazon.com presence" writes Amazon.
Brands can also schedule future posts and in the process drive traffic to their Amazon page.
Since, brands are now given the option to do so much through Amazon, it's important to evaluate the success as well. For this, Amazon has also included 'Analytics' to their Marketing services.
Like any Analytics service, this allows brands to evaluate the data provided by Amazon and make future decisions accordingly. It allows companies to monitor and analyse their pages and posts and how well or bad they are performing.
"By evaluating this data, you can create posts and display product offerings strategically to engage the customers you most want, increasing the likelihood of views and purchases. To help you further improve your understanding of your customers, you can track and compare considerations and sales by segment." shares Amazon.
All the services, Amazon pages, posts and analytics are free of cost. Do you think this will help brands in increasing their sale, and if nothing at least help in creating a more dynamic online presence through one of the most popular online marketplace?
